9th International Singing Competition Dedicated to Kvitka Cisyk

9th International Singing Competition Dedicated to Kvitka Cisyk.

The Ukrainian song does not know borders. For this reason, the 9th International Singing Competition dedicated to Kvitka Cisyk continues to unite performers from different countries around the world, offering them the opportunity to demonstrate their talent, artistic preparation, and love for music.

The "Kvitka Cisyk" International Singing Competition was founded in 2017. It is an important cultural project aimed at promoting Ukrainian song and authentic vocal art on an international level.

Every year, the competition brings together artists in various European cities and contributes to the discovery of new vocal talents.

One of the most important missions of the competition is cultural diplomacy: promoting Ukrainian musical culture beyond national borders, supporting the connection with the Ukrainian diaspora in European countries, and fostering the integration of Ukrainian art into the global cultural landscape.

Over the years, the competition has built a rich international history, taking place in cities such as Brussels, Vilnius, Berlin, Munich, Prague, Paris, and many others.

On June 27 and 28, 2026, in Milan and on July 4 and 5, 2026, in Cassano all'Ionio (Calabria), the two new stages of this prestigious international competition dedicated to the memory of the famous American singer of Ukrainian origin, Kvitka Cisyk, will be held.

Kvitka Cisyk was not only an extraordinary performer of Ukrainian song. Her voice resonated on international stages, in major musical projects and in advertising campaigns for brands known worldwide. She sang in both English and Ukrainian, promoting the land; she was an example of how art can unite different peoples and cultures.

The jury of the competition is traditionally composed of high-level experts and professionals, while at the Grand Gala, some of the best vocal performers participate.

Competitors will be evaluated by a jury composed of Ukrainian Honorary Artists, well-known singers, musicians, and lecturers from the National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television "Ivan Karpenko-Karyi" in Kyiv.

Each participant will have the opportunity to perform before true professionals and receive a qualified assessment of their artistic and vocal abilities.
